Art is a solitary career. And everyone knows what will happen. Some are happy with one social experience a month. Holds their sanity.

But what happens when you 'snap' out of this state? Especially when your far into your obsession.

You get lonely or want to have more fun, but there is no one around to comply. Your only friends are just as anti-social as yourself. You made your situation, and you must deal with it.

What do you do,when you want to pull yourself out of a "anti-social zombie" state, but cant?

That's a good question. When it comes to workind artists, those who have dedicated their life to drawing, painting, sculpting, ect, there is a consistant type i keep running into. They can be generalized into 2 types. The Artist thinker and the Artist feeler.

Artist Feelers

Artist feelers create art that most likely trys to elicit an emotional response from the viewer. Usually artist feelers lean more toward abstract, or pop art related subjects. They find beauty in the everything around them. Sometimes not leaning toward fundemental or traditional skill of the art itself. Art is a pure expression. You either get it, or you don't.

Artist Thinker

Artist thinkers are more structured based. That art is not only expression but a fundemental science, and can be broken down for anyone to learn. They believe art is not an inborn ability, but is a skill like any other. "What good is a emotion if theyou can't draw the figure well?"

Neither of these are exclusive. Most artist think on both sides of the spectrum all the time, But opinions gravitate toward one or the other, if choosen. All parts are essential when it comes to art. And a balance is ideal.
